On Wednesday, Jeet Pabari, Cheteshwar Pujara's brother-in-law committed suicide by hanging himself in his home in Rajkot. This news has shocked the fans, and when it happened, Cheteshwar Pujara was present in the commentary panel for the Test match between India and South Africa. His untimely death has saddened the fans and Pujara's family.
Sources reveal that his suicide could be linked with the cases which have been filed against him. His ex-fiance filed rape allegations on Jeet Pabari, and he had been battling the case for over a year. It should be noted that the rape case against him by the ex-fiance was filed exactly a year ago on 26 November 2024. However, it is whether Pabari committed a suicide due to the same or not.
Police have already started an investigation on this matter, to know about the reasons why Pabari would have taken such a devastating step. His ex-fiance accused Pabari of having physical relations with him, and promised to get married. But later, their engagement was broken, due to which she filed against him.
Some reports also say that Jeet Pabari was going through a lot of mental pressure due to the same.
