Australia was able to win the toss in this game and they had decided to send India to bat first. India got a great start with the help of the captain, Rohit Sharma. Shubman Gill lost his wicket early, scoring just 4 runs in the game, but Virat Kohli maintained the flow of scoring runs. In the last over of the power play, Rohit had scored two boundaries against Maxwell and attempted for another.
