Following this, Shami also played three seasons with Kings XI Punjab, taking for the team.

He was able to take 58 wickets for Kings XI Punjab in just three seasons, showcasing his dominance. But he was still released, and eventually bought by Gujarat Titans. That is also known as the time when Shami started off his in the Indian Premier League.

Shami was able to take 20 wickets in 16 matches in IPL 2022, when Gujarat Titans won its first ever IPL trophy. 2. If Shami Goes to DC

The trade rumours of Delhi Capitals showing their interest in Mohammed Shami has kept the fans to the edge of their seats. Delhi Capitals already had a strong bowling line-up in the previous season, and if they get Shami this time, it would be a deadly bowling line-up for them in the next edition.

The team will be having Mitchell Starc and Mohammed Shami to open with the ball. And this would be like a deadly bowling combination, which is enough to shatter the stumps in the power play itself. Along with that, Delhi Capitals also had a great spin attack, led by Kuldeep Yadav

It should be noted that Shami could have a possible reunion in Delhi Capitals. This team has Mohit Sharma as a bowling option, who was a part of Gujarat Titans in the previous seasons. Shami, Starc, Natarajan, Mukesh Kumar, and Mustafizur Rahman, all of these players would bring a dominant pace bowling line-up for the team.

3. If Shami Goes to LSG

Another team which has shown interest to have Mohammed Shami to their line-up is Lucknow SuperGiants. The team already had its bowling line-up affected in the previous season, with players withdrawing from the tournament due to injuries. For the next season, the team already has one less pace bowling option, as they have traded Shardul Thakur to Mumbai Indians.

, Lucknow Super Giants will be having Akash Deep, who could be a possible opening option for the team along with Mohammed Shami. It should be noted that the team also has the New Zealand bowler, Will O'Rourke in their line-up, who is known for his sharp bouncers. With these three pacers, Lucknow SuperGiants could be good to go, if they get Shami to the team.
