Chelsea are eyeing Feyenoord’s 27-year-old defender David Hancko, with West Ham and Al Nassr also in the race, Saudi interest includes a £27m bid. Meanwhile, Chelsea are not planning to sell Marc Cucurella, despite interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid. With three years left on his deal, the Spaniard remains settled and key to Chelsea’s plans.

When the 2024/25 season nears its end, Chelsea remain in contention for a Champions League spot, currently sitting in the Premier League’s top five with three games left. Securing a Champions League berth would significantly enhance their summer transfer plans, as they also aim to win the UEFA Conference League, where they are strong favourites to reach the final.

In terms of transfers, Chelsea are reportedly pursuing 27-year-old Slovakian centre-back David Hancko from Feyenoord. West Ham United and Saudi club Al Nassr are also in the race, with Al Nassr ready to offer over £27 million. Chelsea must weigh the value of signing Hancko, who, despite his quality, may not provide long-term resale value due to his age. Financial competition from Al Nassr could complicate negotiations, especially if the player is tempted by a lucrative move to the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have no intention of selling full-back Marc Cucurella, despite interest from Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. The 25-year-old, under contract until 2028, is considered integral to the club’s future plans. He is reportedly content in London and not seeking a return to Spain, reinforcing Chelsea's stance of keeping him.
