Liverpool Eye Next Haaland as Sesko Transfer Heats Up

Liverpool are preparing a bid for RB Leipzig's 21-year-old striker Benjamin Sesko, seen as their own version of Erling Haaland. Standing 1.95m tall, Sesko has scored 21 goals in 43 games this season. Valued between £51.1m–£76.6m, he offers pace, power, and aerial strength, key traits that mirror Haaland’s game.

After the Premier League title triumph, Liverpool are actively exploring reinforcements for their forward line, with 21-year-old Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško emerging as a prime target. With Darwin Núñez likely to depart and Alexander Isak deemed too expensive at over £150 million, the Reds are reportedly preparing an offer for Šeško, who is valued by RB Leipzig between €80m–€90m (£68.1m–£76.6m). Liverpool, however, hope to negotiate a lower deal in the range of €60m–€70m (£51.1m–£59.6m).

Šeško has netted 21 goals in 43 appearances this season and boasts a total of 39 goals in 85 matches for Leipzig. Standing at 1.95m (6'4"), he offers a commanding physical presence, combined with exceptional speed and aerial ability—traits likened to Manchester City's Erling Haaland.
