1. Pandya's Injury
Hardik Pandya was last playing for India in the T20 Asia Cup 2025. He played the majority of matches for the Indian cricket team but went on to miss the finals of the tournament. During the Super Fours clash between India and Sri Lanka, Hardik Pandya suffered an injury due to action for months.
He suffered with a quadriceps injury, which pulled him out of the tournament. The checks were conducted, and it was revealed that the injury is not serious. Although Hardik Pandya was not advised to go through a surgery for the same, he still had to spend some time for his rehabilitation. Due to this reason, without Pandya for the last few months.
He went on to miss the India tour of Australia after the Asia Cup finals. And now, with the ODI series also not having Pandya, he is likely to make his comeback in the T20I series.
