Vishal Kaul becomes Senior Director and Head of Marketing for Pro Kabaddi League

Vishal Kaul has taken charge as Senior Director and Head of Marketing for the Pro Kabaddi League at JioStar from November 2025. He has been part of PKL’s marketing team since August 2023 and previously served as Associate Director. With more than 10 years of experience, Kaul earlier spent 8 years leading major sports marketing campaigns at Disney Star.

After the announcement of a major leadership change at JioStar, Vishal Kaul has officially taken over as Senior Director and Head of Marketing for the Pro Kabaddi League under Mashal Sports. Kaul stepped into the role in November 2025 and is currently based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. His new position marks a significant progression in a career closely tied to the league’s growth over the past few years.

Kaul has been part of the Pro Kabaddi League’s marketing ecosystem since August 2023, and before this elevation, he served as Associate Director and Head of Marketing at Mashal Sports for more than two years. In that capacity, he led multi-channel marketing campaigns, collaborated with agencies and creators, and worked closely with commercial partners to drive fan engagement.

With over a decade of experience across sports, entertainment, and television, Kaul previously spent nearly eight years at Disney Star. He rose from Manager Marketing to Senior Manager Marketing at Star Sports, contributing to key brand campaigns and high impact sports marketing initiatives that boosted viewership and strengthened fan connect. His appointment at JioStar reflects both continuity and expansion in PKL’s marketing vision as the league continues to scale its presence nationwide.
