Two former players still keep on targeting each other with their team's performances. And these are the legendary Twitter duo of Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer. Both of them have roasted each other once again, as their teams are playing in respective Test series.

India and England have been opponents both on the field and off the field. While the on field rivalry is being handled by the players, the off field rivalry is being held by the former players. It is not some sort of an internet clash, but more of taking funny digs at each other. And this is by Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer.

Both of these players have been targeting each other to a great extent over these years. It has now increased over the last few days, as both India and England are having a Test series. But this series is not against each other, as India is going against South Africa, and England is facing Australia in The Ashes.

1. Jaffer Targets Vaughan

The Ashes started and ended as quickly as one could have expected. The match was fully towards the bowlers but the English bowlers were not able to do well in the final innings of the game. England started off by scoring 172 runs in their first innings of the game. Following this, they also restricted Australia to just 132 runs, taking a lead of 40.

The Perth Stadium did have a challenging pitch for the batsmen. Due to this reason, England only managed to put up 164 runs on the board during the second innings of the game. This helped them to provide Australia with a target of 205 runs to chase, and it for them.

But Australia had some other plans in this game. Travis Head started to play against England in particular T20 style, as he went on to complete his century in 69 balls. This helped Australia to win the game by 8 wickets, and it should be noted that the match had finished in just two days. It was a great loss for the English team, as Australia without their main skipper and bowlers.

Following the game, Wasim Jaffer took a dig at England by calling out Michael Vaughan. He tagged Michael Vaughan on his Twitter post and asked if he is okay or not. With this, he also used a famous Bollywood meme, which showed that he was taking a dig at Vaughan and England.

2. Michael Vaughan Responds

Michael Vaughan did not respond to the comments which had been made by Wasim Jaffer. But he waited for the right time to arrive, so that he would be able to give the best possible answer to Jaffer for the same. And the tables turned quickly for both of the players, as the match between India and South Africa continued.

South Africa batted for almost two days, as they were able to score 489 runs against India before being bowled all out. The Indian bowlers got a sigh of relief, as they thought that it was finally time for the batters to shine. But it seems that the pitch conditions changed to a great extent, when

Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul were able to give a significant start to the team. But after their wicket fell, the team was not able to hold the crease for a long time. Marco Jansen took the much needed wickets for the Indian team, as the Proteas bowled out India for just 201 runs. They had taken up a massive lead, as South Africa yet again in this game.

The tables turned quickly for England and India, as Jaffer paid the price. Michael Vaughan thought it to be the best time to give his response to Wasim Jaffer to what he had said earlier. He tweeted by asking Jaffer how his day has been going so far. Along with that, he also said that it is not easy to face the left arm pacers, noting that Marco Jansen was the highest wicket-taker.
