‌Pakistan Champions continued their unbeaten run in the World Championship of Legends 2025 season with a 10-wicket thrashing of Australia Champions on Tuesday. After skittling out the Aussies for a paltry 74 in just 11.5 overs, the Men in Green cantered to the target within eight overs to notch up their fourth win of the tournament.

Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal recorded astonishing figures of 6/16 in 3.5 overs to bowl out the Aussies with Pakistan openers Sharjeel Khan and Sohaib Maqsood remaining unbeaten on 32 and 28, respectively, to finish the match with more than 12 overs in the bank.

But both Pakistani batters were disappointed not to get the winning runs, with Australian medium pacer John Hastings taking the credit with his marathon over. Coming in as the impact substitute to bowl the eighth over with 20 more runs required, the former Australian all-rounder ended up creating an impact, giving away the remaining runs with a ball remaining.

He started the over with five consecutive wides before finally delivering the first legal delivery of the over in the sixth. After giving away a single and a four, he again erred with two wides and a no-ball in the next four balls. He ended the over in the same pattern as he started, with five more wides taking Pakistan to their target. The Australian players, including Brett Lee, were shocked as they went through the unbelievable proceedings with a stone face.

Twitter was rolling on the floor laughing as the 18-ball over from Hastings tested the patience of the batters before disappointing them as they could not finish with a shot off the bat.
