VIDEO | Jasprit Bumrah left furious by “teammate” Kieron Pollard’s antics

Despite the dominance of league cricket, cricket is still a country-vs-country sport and Jasprit Bumrah's reaction to Kieron Pollard’s antics just proved it. After Pollard edged a short ball, Bumrah charged forward to take the catch but was left furious after the batsman's last-second antics.

Nothing seemed to be going in Windies’ favor in the game tonight as following their bowlers’ failure to contain runs, their batsmen produced yet another shambolic display. While a lot of hope was on Pollard to unleash some of his vintage shots to close the team towards a respectable total, he was negated by none other than his Mumbai Indians teammate Jasprit Bumrah.

However, the moment of the day came after his dismissal. Bumrah got the fourth ball of the 11th over to skid off the deck and the ball to climb on the batsman. Pollard was in no position to deal with that as he got a top-edge on it and sensing an opportunity Bumrah started moving towards the trajectory of the ball.

But, a walking Pollard by then was almost under the ball and when he realized that Bumrah was there to take the catch, almost in the last second of the landing, he took his hand from the position which created a block vision for the bowler. Although Bumrah had no problem in clinging onto the ball, he was visibly furious at his Mumbai teammate.
