1. Rohit's Preparations for SA Series
India and South Africa will be facing each other for a three-match ODI series, starting from 30 November. For this, Rohit Sharma has started his practices at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. He has been training at the CoE for the last 5-6 days, and has focused on different areas where

Further in his practice sessions, Rohit Sharma has focused on facing the fast bowlers, and also worked on the spinners. His training sessions still go on, till the Indian team comes up together for the first ODI match. 2. Rohit Sharma's Last ODI Series vs SA
Rohit Sharma last played an ODI series against South Africa back in 2018. This also means that India and South Africa will be having an ODI series after a long time, and both teams have faced each other in the World Cups twice before meeting each other in a bilateral series. It was a six match ODI series, where Rohit Sharma used to open with Shikhar Dhawan.

Rohit Sharma was not able to do well against South Africa in the previous ODI series. In the first four games of the series, he was not even able to reach a combined total of 50 runs. This fueled the Hitman to perform well for the team in the remaining games of the series, and he did it in the fifth ODI.

In this game, Rohit Sharma went on to score 115 runs for the team in just 126 balls, which allowed India to set a massive total. Eventually the team won this game by 73 runs, as Rohit Sharma received the Player of the Match award for his wonderful knock. He was unable to end the series on a positive note, scoring 15 runs off 13 balls in the last game.
3. Rohit's ODI Comeback
Rohit Sharma has already marked his return to the ODI format. He played a game for the Indian team after a seven month break in the series against Australia. Although the first game didn't go well for the Hitman, it didn't seem that for some months, taking a look at his magnificent performances.
He went on to score a half-century for the team in the second match, and continued his dominance in the third. The last ODI of the series saw Rohit Sharma finish his tour of Australia with a magnificent century. With this, he received the Player of the Match award for helping India to win the series, and POTS award for being the team's highest run scorer in the series.
