AI Simulation, ENG-W vs WI-W | Heather Knight helps England win series 2-0 against West Indies at Hove

According to Artificial Intelligence, the second T20I between England and West Indies in Hove on Friday shall play out in the hosts' favour to seal the series with a game to spare. Hayley Matthews' 42 got WI to 141/8 but it was Danni-Wyatt Hodge and Heather Knight's knocks that proved decisive.
Pitch & Weather
The County Ground in Hove was up to no shenanigans on Friday as the surface proved to be flat and firm, ideal for run-scoring with negligible wear and tear as the game progressed. However, dew later in the day more than made up for the deck decay, making it easier to bat on if anything which made chasing a tempting prospect.
Toss & Conditions
England Women won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Match Report
Asked to bat first, West Indies Women's batting seemed to be set for a similar script as the first game early on, where Hayley Matthews had been responsible for 100 of her team's 146 runs, when Issy Wong dispatched Qiana Joseph and Zaida James with the new ball. However, this time the skipper found some company in Realeanna Grimmond and the duo found some momentum to take the score to 50/2 at the end of the powerplay. Linsey Smith's tight lines thereafter put a slight brake on the scoring, but it was not until the partnership had surpassed 50 that she managed to scalp both incumbent batters and leave the Windies reeling at 100/4 with six overs to go. Brisk but brief cameos from Aaliyah Alleyne, Mandy Mangru, and Jannillea Glagow ensured the Caribbean outfit managed to bat out the entire innings, but the total read a subpar 141/8.
In response, England's openers got off to a flying start as both Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Sophie Dunkley frequently set the Kookaburra racing to the boundary. The former eventually fell victim on the final over of the powerplay, but her efforts were enough to lay a solid powerplay foundation of 53/1. Natalie Sciver-Brunt's search for success with the bat in her new role as skipper continued as she fell soon after too but the wicker only brought together the pair of Dunkley and Heather Knight who had swept the game away a couple nights ago. They quickly set on a similar path at Hove too as the former skipper scored for early boundaries to stamp her authority on the game and play the dominant role in a half-century stand. Even though Dunkley could not stay till the end this time around, departing for 48 off 33 deliveries, Knight saw the game through to the end as her fifth boundary sealed the result with 17 balls to spare.
Player of the Day
Heather Knight surpassed 40 for the second consecutive match in the series, her 41 off 25 pivotal for England chasing down West Indies' total without any hiccups. Add the bonus points for scoring the winning runs, and Knight was the clear primary contender for Woman of the Match.
