The UP Yoddhas secured a thrilling victory over the Bengaluru Bulls in a match that went into a tie-breaker for the first time in the season, at the SMS Indoor Stadium, Jaipur. Gagan Gowda opened the scoring for the Yoddhas, but Bengaluru’s Alireza Mirzaian quickly responded, giving his team an early lead.

The Bulls dominated the first half with strong raids and defence, holding an 11-7 advantage at the first half time-out and extending it to 18-12 with a Super Tackle. The Yoddhas staged a comeback before halftime, inflicting an ALL OUT to narrow the deficit to 19-20. Bhavani Rajput’s smart raid helped level the score at 20-20 early in the second half. Both teams exchanged points, keeping the contest tight, with Bhavani Rajput scoring a Super 10 and Sumit contributing key tackles.

In the dying seconds, Alireza Mirzaian completed his Super 10 and executed a super raid to tie the game at 36-36, forcing a tie-breaker. The Yoddhas struck first in the decider and maintained composure, combining smart raids and tackles to lead 6-4. Despite a late Bengaluru raid, the Yoddhas held firm to win the tie-breaker 6-5, marking a memorable and nerve-wracking victory.
