Arsenal and Bukayo Saka are moving positively toward a new long term contract, with his current deal ending in 2027. The 24-year-old winger has 76 goals in 277 Arsenal games and 6 goals in 14 matches this season. The club recently renewed William Saliba and Gabriel, and securing Saka is seen as the most important step.

After the latest round of negotiations, Arsenal and Bukayo Saka are moving steadily toward a new long term contract, with discussions described as positive even though no deal has been finalised yet. The 24 year old winger’s current agreement runs until the summer of 2027, but both sides are keen to secure his future well before that point.

Arsenal’s new sporting director Andrea Berta has already tied down William Saliba and Gabriel to fresh long-term contracts, and Saka is viewed as the next essential renewal, given his status in the squad. Saka has become one of the Premier League’s standout performers under Mikel Arteta. Since his debut in 2018, he has scored 76 goals in 277 appearances for Arsenal and remains their most influential attacking player. This season he has started strongly with 6 goals in 14 matches across all competitions, including a run of 3 goals in 4 games before the international break.

His importance has also been reinforced by his recent form for England, where he has scored 4 goals in his last 6 outings. With Saka still only 24, Arsenal see this contract as a move that secures his peak years. His renewal would be more significant than any new signing, strengthening the club’s long term project.
