Manchester United are preparing a £44m (€50m) bid for Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque after Chelsea and West Ham showed interest. The 20-year-old Brazilian, who has scored 13 goals in 28 Série A matches since joining from Barcelona for €25.5m, may stay until summer 2026 to boost his World Cup hopes. Barcelona will receive 20% of any sale.

When the January transfer window opens, Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £44 million (€50 million) bid for Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque, as they look to beat Chelsea and West Ham in the race for his signature. The 20-year-old Brazilian, who has scored 13 goals in 28 Série A appearances since joining Palmeiras from Barcelona for €25.5 million in February, has quickly become one of South America’s most sought-after young talents.

United have already sent scouts to monitor his performances, while Roque’s agent, André Cury, confirmed that they are waiting for an official Premier League proposal worth around €50 million after turning down a €35 million offer from Saudi Arabia. Chelsea and West Ham remain in contention, with the former having a track record of signing young South American stars and the latter offering more guaranteed playing time.

Roque, who earned his first senior Brazil cap and was the top scorer at the South American U20 Championship, reportedly prefers to stay at Palmeiras until next summer to boost his 2026 World Cup hopes. Barcelona, his former club, stand to gain around €10 million from a future sale due to a 20 percent sell-on clause.
