Other additions under his leadership include Milos Kerkez (£40 million), Jeremie Frimpong (£29.5 million), Giorgi Mamardashvili (£29 million), Giovanni Leoni (£26 million), and a few lower-cost deals. Despite Liverpool’s recent dip in form, which saw them win only once in seven matches before beating Aston Villa, many believe it would be unwise to let Hughes depart so early in his tenure.
