‌The bowlers have to execute a perfect delivery to dismiss the best batters in the world. One such delivery was bowled by Faisal Shah, who castled Indian star opener Shubman Gill with a beautiful inswinging delivery in the last league game of the Asia Cup 2025 against India on Friday.

The last league game between India and Oman has begun with India electing to bat first at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. While this might be a dead rubber fixture, the Oman bowlers made it challenging in the first two overs as the Men in Blue were restricted to 6/1. Though Shakeel had ensured only five runs came in the first over, it was Faisal Shah who delivered the surprise in the second over of the game.

Shah started the over with two dot balls while bowling to the Indian opener and vice-captain, Shubman Gill. While the two deliveries were nice and accurate, it was the third delivery that caught the world-class batter by surprise. The left-arm pacer bowled a terrific inswinging delivery that sent his off stump cartwheeling. This was the moment of magic that shocked Gill and sent him back to the dressing room on a score of five off eight deliveries. Faisal only conceded one run in the over as he maintained his discipline and consistency in the next three deliveries.
