Bowlers have the freedom to celebrate a dismissal in the game of cricket, but Saad Masood broke all limits during the match against India A in Doha. The Pakistan Shaheens leg-spinner dismissed Naman Dhir before irking the batter with a feisty send-off, which left the batter unimpressed.

‌Pakistan Shaheens thrashed India A by eight wickets in an Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 match in Doha on Sunday. All-rounder Maaz Sadaqat picked up two wickets with the ball to bundle out India for 136 before smashing an unbeaten half-century (79* off 47 balls) to power the Men in Green to a clinical win over their arch-rivals.

India had a flying start after being put in at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, with Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Naman Dhir taking the side to 68 in eight overs. The left-handed opener started the ninth over off Saad Masood with a six before Naman hit a four in the third.

However, the leg-spinner bounced back with the wicket of the Mumbai Indians batter in the very next ball before giving him a feisty send-off. Naman chased a wide short of a length delivery that turned away further away after pitching on off stump. His back-foot punch went straight to Irfan Khan at covers as the bowler was all pumped up.

He angrily looked at Naman and then pointed to the dressing room before shouting once again, asking the batter to leave. Though Naman was disappointed at his dismissal, he did well not to react as he kept staring back at the bowler before finally making his way back.

Twitter was not impressed with Masood’s gestures with the spinner sure to get sanctioned by the ICC.
