RCB vs SRH | Twitter in splits as Abhishek causes literal destruction in Lucknow by smashing car windshield

There are few batters capable of making people in a stadium worry for their lives with their six-hitting prowess, and Abhishek Sharma might just have added his name to that list on Friday. The opener smashed three sixes in Lucknow against RCB, the first of which left a big hole in the sponsor car.

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a scintillating start against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Ekana Stadium on Friday as the visitors surpassed 50 in the fourth over itself. Abhishek Sharma played the role of destructor-in-chief, his whirlwind knock of 34 off just 17 deliveries featuring three boundaries and as many maximums. However, RCB's new ball bowelers were not the only ones frazzled by the high-flying southpaw, as the organizers and sponsors to had to pay the price for the youngster's pure hitting ability.

On the penultimate ball of the second over, immediately after Abhishek had dispatched a Bhuvneshwar Kumar good length delivery for his first four of the game, the 24-year-old decided to step things up. He pounced on a back of the length delivery and walloped it over midwicket with aplomb as the Kookaburra disappeared into the night sky. As luck would have it, the hard white rock descended directly upon the TATA Curvv sponsor car, which is present at ever venue during the IPL before ultimately being awarded to the player of the tournament.

Abhishek remained his stoic self even as a few around the field guffawed at the hilarious coincidence, much like Twitterati.
