Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians in their second match of IPL 2022 to register consecutive wins and go on top of the points table with the best net run rate so far. Sanju Samson's captaincy was commendable in the second half of the match as he rotated his bowlers well and made sure that his side kept the pressure on Mumbai Indians.ย

Rohit Sharma after winning the toss decided to bowl first. Rajasthan Royals were off to flyer after because of Jos Buttler's brilliance in the match. The English batter smashed 100 from 63 balls to make sure his side had a huge total against Mumbai Indians who also boast of an explosive batting line-up.

While chasing, Tilak Verma and Ishan Kishan batted beautifully as both scored fifties but it just was not enough as they could not take them across the finish line. Rohit Sharma could not make an impact with the bat and now his team has lost two in two games.ย
