It was a depressing day for South Africa as they lost a do or die match to Pakistan and crashed out of the tournament. Even though Faf du Plessis and Quinton de Kock gave a good start for South Africa, the middle order failed to build the innings. Twitterati slammed the current South African team.

Brief scores: Pakistan 308/7 in 50 overs (Haris Sohail 89, Babar Azam 69; Imran Tahir 2-41, Aiden Markram 1-22) beat South Africa 259/9 in 50 overs (Faf du Plessis 63, Quinton de Kock 47; Wahab Riaz 3-46, Shadab Khan 3-50) by 49 runs

England will, don't worry!

What this South African team needed this World Cup...
