What an entertaining game it was! This sort of games we'd love to see as cricket lovers. 288 may not seem big, but Australia's bowling performance at the death took them over the line. Chris Gayle was wrongly given out and the poor umpiring was criticized by the entire cricket fraternity.

Yesterday, West Indies suffered a 15-runs loss against Australia at Trent Bridge. Windies were chasing a target of 288 which looked attainable with those in-form players in their batting lineup but poor umpiring played a crucial role as opener Chris Gayle was given out on a delivery which ideally should have given a free hit. Chris Gayle was caught plumb in front of his wicket by Mitchell Starc but it came as a massive shock when TV replay showed Starc's delivery to be a no-ball by a huge margin. Umpire Chris Gaffaney failed to notice the error made by Starc and Windies went on to lose this crucial match against Australia. Cricket fraternity expressed their displeasure and reacted on the same on Twitter.
