IND vs SA | MS Dhoni excluded from South Africa T20Is

Indian selectors have decided to rest MS Dhoni for yet another series as the former skipper was not included in the squad for the three-match T20I series against South Africa. India will play a three-match series against SA with the first match scheduled to be played at Dharamsala on September15.

After being rested for the entire series against West Indies, MS Dhoni's post World Cup vacation was extended as the committee of selectors decided to pick Rishabh Pant as the wicketkeeper for the upcoming T20Is against South Africa. While the squad for the Windies series has been retained in its entirety, Hardik Pandya is the only new face in the squad. 

India will welcome South Africa with a three-match T20I series before the tour moves to the longer formats. The first T20I of the series is scheduled to begin on September 15 when the teams square off at Dharamsala. This will be followed by games at Mohali and Bengaluru on September 18 and 22 respectively.
