WATCH | Jadhav misses easy stumping chance, not once but twice

The 10th edition of IPL has been in headlines for the poor standard of fielding where sitters have been dropped on numerous occasions. The same trend continued today when Kedar Jadhav fumbled the ball and failed to stump Wriddhiman Saha twice on one ball when his compatriot was miles down the pitch.

Indian Premier League kicked off with some amazing performances in the outfield by players but the tournament took a turn for the worse when players from almost every franchise started dropping sitters and fumbling the ball regularly.

Kedar Jadhav became the recent addition to a long list of players who have made some embarrassing errors on the field. The Punjab side was struggling at 53-3 in the 10th over when Virat Kohli brought Yuzvendra Chahal to pile on the pressure on the away side. Chahal bowled a beautiful dipping 3rd delivery, to beat Wriddhiman Saha, who had come down the pitch trying to play the spinner on the full.

Jadhav might have been blinded by the batsman and spilt the ball while attempting the first stumping. However, Saha was so far down the pitch that even after the RCB man dropped the ball he didn't make a serious attempt to make his crease. Jadhav, though, seemed adamant on giving the Punjab wicketkeeper another chance as the RCB man failed to gather the ball and take the bails off on the second attempt as well. This time Saha decided to make a run for his crease and was able to get back quite easily at the end, leaving Jadhav red-faced.

Even Virender Sehwag couldn't help himself from smirking at the incident.
