After helping Pakistan reach the semi-finals of the CT, Sarfraz Ahmed had faced an awkward moment just before the post-match press conference at Cardiff. After getting to know that the entire conference would be in English, he was caught on camera saying, 'All the questions will be in English?.'

Sarfraz Ahmed’s brilliant 61-run knock secured a semi-final berth for Pakistan, who beat Sri Lanka by 3 wickets in the final Group B game in Cardiff. Sarfraz rescued Pakistan from a precarious position of 162/7 while chasing 237, to set up a semi-final date against England.

However, when he came all set to attend a press conference, after a hectic day in the field, he panicked when he saw that there was no Hindi or Urdu reporter present, and embarrassingly asked, “Saarayhe English kay hay?”, which can be loosely translated to, “All the questions will be in English?.

He asked it twice before the press conference started officially. This funny moment was recorded on camera and the video went viral on the internet. But, the skipper forgot all this soon and spoke candidly about Pakistan’s chances of making it to the finals. Speaking about the team’s chances in the semi-finals against England on Wednesday, Sarfraz said, "We played the last ODI here. We win that time, we chased 300, so definitely our confidence is very high playing in Cardiff.”
