Rohit Sharma will play against New Zealand for Mumbai in tour game

Rohit Sharma has been included in the Mumbai team for the practice match against New Zealand, which will start from September 16. Aditya Tare will lead the side in this three-day game while Mumbai will miss their stars who are part of the India A squad currently on a ​tour of Australia.

The Mumbai Cricket Association has declared the team for the three-day tour game against the visiting New Zealand side. However, another International cricketer, Ajinkya Rahane, is not a part of the team.

Mumbai will miss the services of their four key players–Shreyas Iyer, Akhil Herwadekar, Dhawal Kulkarni, and Shardul Thakur. The four Mumbai regulars are parts of the India A tour which is currently playing four-day games in Australia.

New Zealand is slated to play three Tests and five One day Internationals against India between September 22 to October 29.
